JC Osborne

Growing up with the editorial images in Life, Look, and Saturday Evening Post Joe was always fascinated, and drawn to the photographs in those publications. However, the requirements for a darkroom always eluded him. Never enough room.

Five years ago Joe spoke with a colleague about his photography hobby, and Joe borrowed his wife's Canon 30D and several lenses. He was hooked.

In 2012 his work won the Photography Sweepstakes Award at the Southern California Ventura County Fair for best body of work. In the last three years Joe has won seven blue ribbons including first place in Portraits both years entered.

Joe also photographed the 2011 Ventura Film Festival which featured the cast of the Oscar winning movie "West Side Story".

His interest is capturing life as it is.
